True Story: NO Doesn’t Always Mean NO Forever

I was visiting with a friend who has recently left a prestigious job/career after 12 years. She has a new found passion for life exploring the world of entrepreneurship, meeting new people, managing her own time rather than a work environment managing her time. She recalled an incident when she wanted to be accepted into a specialty school and was required to pass a math test for admittance. She didn’t pass and was devastated having been a high achiever all her life. A few years later she studies and tried again, with less personal pressure. She passed. The reality wasn’t that she is smarter now, it’s that she was ready for whatever the passing of this test meant. It means that NO doesn’t always mean forever, it might be just NO for now. I believe that everything comes to us at precisely the right moment. You won’t be denied if it’s meant to be for you. Believe it.
